AIG Christmas Party

Beers, beards and backpacks are the theme of a fair few of the Geology centric events that I attend. This years AIG drinks in Brisbane were no real exception and it was great to see some of the faces that match the names that I read and voices that I hear so often.

Nothing really to report on the event itself. The market has its highs and lows. There's been some tough times out there. Geologists generally as a profession like beer. I think it's almost safe to generalise.

What events are you planning to attend this year with your mining industry colleagues? What is the burning topic of conversation on your christmas party list? And what is the best way to ensure you are close to the food trays when they are passed around. I always end up missing them!!
